Hi All

I want to install Mysql Cluster and I have a couple of questions:
1 What OS(open source) is the best and fastest for mysql cluster?
2 What version of MySQL must I use? I subscribed to MySQL Network and their certified software is 5.0.17c but I see on the website that 5.0.24a is available?

Thank you
Andrew

I think Linux is by far most tested OpenSource operation system for MySQL.

There are multiple flavors which I think depends on personal choice. I use CentOS for my projects because it has good support from hardware vendors being rebuild of RedHat Enterprise Server.

I would use MySQL 5.0.24a or recent public version. There are way too many bugs fixes since "certified version" 5.0.17.
